Struck out on my first try for a Pronghorn Buck Tag in Wyoming. Tried around Laramie. Looking at leftover options now. The doe tags for unit 72 seem to be the best bet for me for a number of reasons. This will be my first big game hunt, doing it alone and with a sedan (no AWD). Is this unit accessible? I know there is a lot of checker boarding and happy to do my research or utilize walk in areas if they are available. Up to do tons of walking in, just cant get my car stuck somewhere. The terrain looks a lot more mountainous than the more "plainsy" stuff further SE where I originally applied. Any information would be helpful, thank you.

I'll be hunting Unit 73, which is next to Unit 72, for the first time so I can't be any help on access and road conditions. What about renting a truck for a couple days?

Your odds in 72 will be about 1/100. The only reason there are leftovers is because it was a new hunt and nobody looks at the seasons.
