Hello all, I know this is probably taboo, 3 cow seasons now attempted and no meat in the freezer, we spent 7 days in WY GMU 59 late season in Dec and saw lots of elk, but none left private, even after the Ranchers shot at them. Anyhow, looking for possible trespass fee hunts for cow only, or any other ideas? Never tried a later CO cow season, my goal would be to find wintering areas with very little private land adjacent to it, im convinced elk have evolved to know exactly where the property borders are. Last year they would step within 10' of the private/public border, but never cross it. We would be open to paying a trespass fee if not too ridiculous if anyone knows of such a thing?
