I was looking at a walk in hunting map for Oklahoma today and noticed a whole bunch of color on the map out in the panhandle.
It appears that Oklahoma now has quite a bit of walk in hunting for archery hunting antelope, appx 22,000 acres. The seasons are kind weird that archery is after most of the gun hunting but for those who live in Oklahoma this is a unique opportunity. Figured I would share in case anyone was interested.
Also appears Oklahoma is trying to add more walk in land primarily for archery and shotgun hunting. Article on program.
