270 loads

I got my 270 mainly because I apply for OIL Oklahoma elk tags and the smallest caliber allowed for that NWR is 270. I keep a dedicated elk load for that rifle in hand in case I draw but it's my go to deer rifle now since my dedicated western rifle is a 26 Nosler and factory ammo and brass is STUPID expensive. Once I get my "relaxing" bench set up again it'll be time to develop a load with 140gr SSTs, absolutely devastating on deer.

I like to use IMR 4350 with 150 gr bullets. I’m starting to play around with 140 gr bullets but I really like to use that IMR 4350 with my .270 reloads

Either of the 4831's with 130/140 in the 270W is like Peanut Butter and Jelly. Many times these 2 make for a quick load solution.

Thanks for all the comments. Positive contributions with in the field documentation is what makes sites like these cool.

Work up to a max charge of H4831 (or H4831SC), RL17, or better yet, RL26. The 140 NAB has accounted for numerous deer for me out of my 270Win.
