bears near Laramie peak

Planning on a Wyoming mule deer hunt next year in the Laramie mts. Going to try and score some antelope doe tags near that area as well. Would it be worth picking up a bear tag for the area? Looks like harvest rate is 16% I don't know if that's good or bad for bears.

I have hunted there a fair amount and know that there is a bear in the general area but have never seen it. I'm not a local to the area, so someone else may have better info, but they seem pretty sparse.

Some bears , some decent sized ones. Very scattered but around. I would check on the quota before I bought a tag. Some outfitters are starting to push bear hunts around Laramie Peak so quotas can close the season early.
