Newbie, escaped the left coast, now saying HI from Virginia

I am saying hello from Virginia Beach, VA. 59 years old, new to this type of hunting, my shooting experience is also relatively young and mostly includes sporting clays and upland birds. Looking for new friends, and any and all the help I can get.

I just moved to Virginia Beach a couple years ago and am also new to hunting but don't really have any contacts or people I know that hunt. Have you any luck finding anyone and if so I could use some advice on some places to go. Thanks.
