This group got me thinking, it is triplets or just an early nursery group ? There are some other doe /fawn groups out of the frame , but not in close proximity.


Greenhorn, Eli have you ever seen triplets ?

ive seen lots of twins this year up here in AB, its been the norm over singles for what I have seen this yr.

I believe after a doe is 2 years old or after her first fawn she will always have twins or trips..... that has been my experience. When you see them with less either a predator got the other or she is not "of age" LOL.....

They absolutely have triplets and I would bet that's what is in your photo. Twenty years ago in our area in central Wy, when fawn production was much higher than it is now, it was common to see as many triplets as singles. The majority of does with fawns had twins.
