Gear Storage and Organization

Since I'll have an extra day this weekend I'm going to clean out and reorganize my gear closet. Do you have any storage or organization tricks that are unique? I'm just trying to see if there is a better way than what I'm already doing. (Which I'm sure there is.) I've just got a closet to work with, but if it applies to a garage, shed, or attic I'm all ears for that as well! (My search attempts did not turn up anything, but if there is a previously established thread please let me know.) Thanks!

I use totes with lids. I'll put my western hunting gear/clothing in one, gadgets, bino, maps etc etc in another. That way when you look for something it's more organized.

I bought a armoire from a salvage store and installed a cedar board inner back wall, now all my clothes are hung up and easy to get to I hang the gloves and hats on hooks on the inner door it works great and total cost was around 40 dollars
