Here is a new recipe I tried out for Cinco de Mayo.

2lb elk Steak - I used sirloin
1/3c oil - I used olive
1/4c soy sauce
1/4c orang or grapefruit juice
2tbs honey
2tbs cider vinegar
1/2tsp salt
1-2tsp ground cumin
6 cloves of garlic
1/2 bunch cilantro
1/2 onion
1-2 jalapeños

Put everything but the steak in a blender. Blend fairly smooth.
Put meat in ziplock bag and pour marinade over it.
Marinate 4-48 hours.
Grill to medium rare-medium on the hottest you can get your grill.
Rest meat for a few minutes then slice against the grain and enjoy.
