Fan Mount

Cut it off, salt the exposed meat, pin it to a piece of plywood spread out as far as it will go (should be a full half circle), let it dry a month or so depending on temperature and humidity... Then do whatever you want with it.. They sell lots of kits to mount the feet and beard as well... we like to just pin the fans to the wall for decoration.

Ps keep labs away...they eat fans...

Borax works well for me. Remove as much meat as possible, right down to the quills, a little bondo applied to the exposed quills will hold them in place. Check out the NWTF website, excellent instructions there on how to mount a fan.

So do cats!

There is also a tail bone you want to remove so the fan lays straight. I used borax.
