Curious if anybody has tried reloader 16 with a 140 accubond. They’re published data is 3050 fps with a 24” barrel. Just wondering anyone has tested this yet.

I’ve tried it in a 6.5 Creedmoor with the 140g. Good groups but inconsistent FPS variations too high for my liking. I switched back to H4350, so if you want to try it let me know and I a couple pounds I could send you.

61 grains of reloader 22 will go over 3100 with a 130 grain bullet accuarte load in my gun

I haven't tried RL16 but I think it would work well. I'm using it for my 30/06 and my 338 Win. Mag. The only reason I probably won't try RL16 for my 270 Win. is that I tried RL26 first. With 61.2 grains of RL26 and a 140 grain Berger, I'm getting 3100 fps and great accuracy. No need to try the RL16. I'm also going to be trying the RL26 with 140 grain Accubonds, as I am almost out of Bergers but have several boxes of Accubonds that need to be used up. Hopefully I'll get the same good groups with the Accubonds as I do with the Bergers. My old load that I used in the past was with 58 grains of H4831 and I got equal accuracy with the Bergers and the Accubonds, but only 2,850 fps.

I actually use RE 26 in my 7 mag, I might have to try it in the 270, I just couldn't find any load data on it. I have used 1MR4350 and H4831SC in the 270 and was only getiing 2850 FPS as well. Thanks WA hunter that helps.

I am using reloader 16 in 6.5 creedmore and it seems promising. I load Ramshot Hunter in my 270 hunting loads with 130 ttsx. Best accuracy I found was 54.5 grains and they go 2975 or so out of my tikka. I also load a "match" load for it with Sierra 135 match kings over 54 grns of H100V going 3030 fps with a 4.8 sd.

I worked out a load for a co workers Savage 110 30-06 with 165gr. Nosler Ballistic Tips.
Didn't get to run it over the chrono yet.
Groups halfways decent. Kicks like an army reject mule!!! No offense..

Using RL19 for 140gr in the 7mm Rem Mag and the 284 Win.
