Hello everyone,

I've been living in Utah for a little over 7 months now. I'm excited for a chance to hunt the West. My eagerness to learn has become an addiction. I grew up in Kansas, so learning how to hunt this mountinous land will be my biggest challenge. I have many questions and appriciate the knowledge and experience with this forum. I'm thankful to be apart of this community!

Welcome! I'm Southern Nevada...new to elk hunting and intending to hunt Utah this fall. You picked a good spot to land when you got on this forum.
 
Welcome to HT, I'm on base for a few more weeks then retirement. I originally lived in Syracuse when we moved here in 2010, sold our house and moved on base for the last bit of time we have left here.
