Shed thread

Was finally able to get out last weekend on a piece of Block Management that I've spent a few days on, and found a few sheds during the fall. Found this 4 pt WT in the first 15 minutes so of course I was expecting to find a bunch. Walked 15 more miles that day and only found one other 4 pt, all busted up. Pretty sure somebody combed the property over before I made it out. Oh well, good exercise for September.

Tough year for me. Lots of snow, lots of rain, no time... but pulled a giant set. Have one antler of this guy from last year.

Eat 70" wide 235 BnC and about 58lbs.

Found this while cutting wood in the Elkhorns last weekend. I think bull elk sometimes drop their sheds unnaturally high in the Elkhorns because they are pushed there by the hordes of shed hunters who scour the foothills. Around Easter when the big bulls were dropping there was easily 2 feet of snow on the ground where this shed was found.

Love this thread, found it a little late though! I had a bad year shed hunting but my buddy found a nice dead head standing right next to me! 18492.jpeg
