For reasons not of my choosing (theft) I had to get a new bow. My last one was a #80 @28" Bowtech Guardian that I was getting about 275fps with a 450gr arrow.

This one is #70 @28" and with the same weight arrow is getting 282fps and is as dead in the hand as anything I have ever shot. I shot many of the high-end bows of PSE, Hoyt, and Bowtech and preferred this one.

For an aluminum bow it is pretty light too! Anyway, I am digging it and hope to have it run through at least one elk this fall and maybe a few other specimens. If you are in the market, give them a look...

I've owned a few Xpeditions. They make some nice bows. For the speed they put out, they draw is pretty smooth. And I agree, most of their bows are around 3.9 lbs...which is lighter than most aluminum bows on the market today.

And Built right here in SD.

They have a very poor dealer network though and most people even in SD don't have a clue they exist.

I wish there were more bows that were under 4 pounds. I hate the extra weight they have tacked on to all the new models
