Scope and Rings for Sauer 100 xt 30-06

Hi everyone,

Just bought my first center fire rifle a Sauer 100 in 30-06. Wondering if anyone has this gun and what rings and scope they have for it? There are so many options for scopes, rings, and mounts out there I'm just curious if anyone has a setup they like for this rifle in particular. This is all pretty new to me so any input would help me in my search.

I'm a big fan of Warne rings, that would be my recommendation for rings, I would assume they make bases for that model. The sky is the limit on scopes. Zeiss, Leupold, and vortex are my favorites for scopes that are under $1,000. vx-2 minimum for the leupold, probably viper minimum on the vortex. Power wise something in the 2-10 to 4-12 is plenty for the 06. Hit up schmaltz on here with predator optics, he recently had some really good deals and had a vx-3 for a really good price.
