I'm never been credited with being real smart, so here goes.

I have never hunted antelope, so I just want the experience. Looking at WY GF website, looks like Area 1 for doe/fawn is almost guaranteed draw. Lots of public land. Am I missing anything? Just looking to shoot a goat fairly close to home. Non-resident.

Draw odds for type 6 doe/fawn were 100% last year. Definitely plenty of public there for you to fill that tag. Two buddies of mine did there first antelope hunt there last year. They filled two buck and two doe tags in a day and a half. You may want to apply for two doe tags while your at it for that price.

I filled my two type 6 tags out of there last year while i was there in November for deer. If your just going for antelope you may want to go before the deer hunters show up, lots of orange on the public land. feel free to PM.
