Need some help with what tag to go for...I'm taking my NR Kids on a cow elk hunt - assuming I draw. For the kids, should we apply for Elk B tag (004-00) or should I go for the NR Youth Elk tag. We are not hunting deer so I don't need the youth combination tag - just elk. As I understand it, the Youth Elk Tags are limitless and do not require a draw. I can purchase them at anytime. (is this still true for 2018?) What about the Elk B? Cost difference? Odds of Draw? Should I try for the Elk B first and if not drawn then go for the Youth Elk Tag? I'll call FWP later in the week, but looking for thoughts here please.
