Know any turkey specialists?

When I'm trying to find Hunters who at least can convince others they know what the hell they're talking about, i turn to Hunt Talk. I'm looking for someone who works with wild turkeys, a biologist, call maker, conservationist Etc. Someone who might be willing to share a conversation for an hour or so for a podcast.

Would anyone have any suggestions of someone who i could reach out to? Thanks.

Sorry, don’t know any contacts specific to turkeys off hand. Not sure if you want to talk turkeys in a specific region, but National Wild Turkey Federation has biologists and conservation folks. You can find a staff directory by state on their website with contact info. Otherwise, look for upland game bird biologists with the state agencies.

What he said..... I can get you in contact with the right person, depending on where you are at. Everyone that works for the NWTF is my co-worker.
