That would be pretty cool. I've never traveled with a gun. The only time I've ever traveled with a rod (Belize) they told me I could take it as a carry on, then once on the plane may be check it... then they lost it. I'm not sure I want to risk that with a shotgun (though arguably it might actually be a cheaper loss).
