Bozeman, MT – MYSTERY RANCH, an industry-leading backpack company, devoted to making mission-specific products is pleased to announce that they will now be offering the Guide Light Frame and “Bag-Only” options for two packs in the company’s hunting line.

This product offering is ideal for the individual that may already own a MYSTERY RANCH METCALF, MARSHALL or any other pack that sits on MR’s Guide Light Frame. The all-new MULE and always popular PINTLER are the two styles that will now be available in this bag-only option.

The ability to swap bags on and off a single frame is ideal for a backcountry hunter that mixes day hunts with extended outings. If you plan to visit the trailhead early in the morning before work, you now have the option to attach the smaller, more compact MULE or slightly larger, all day option with the Pintler to your Guide Light Frame, all while still having plenty of load carrying power in case the hunt is a success. If a hunt demands camping equipment, food and other necessities for an expedition type adventure, you now have the ability to switch back your larger bag.

Additionally, the Guide Light Frame is available as a frame-only option, allowing you to create dual pack systems ready to handle any style of hunt in any of four color choices – Coyote, Foliage, Desolve Bare and Sub Alpine.

Looks like they have some interesting new smaller packs out too that are designed with the load shelf. I ordered a Pintlar off the camofire deal Saturday and I'm really looking forward to using it!

The Mule is an awesome setup for long day hunts where you just need the essentials, but will likely need to be hauling out quarters or game bags. I used it last fall, and it goes from daypack to load hauler in no time. Carried out an entire boned out deer, and worked like a champ.
