I was going through my art files and came across this drawing I drew quite a long time ago. I still like the "feel" of this drawing. Just sharing for the heckuva it. It takes me back to my trip to South Africa many years ago, and seeing first hand, all the amazing wildlife there. Nyala are my favorite of all the African antelope.

Incredible talent... No question where your son gets it from.

I wouldn't be able to draw the sky in this picture.

I like the feel of that as well! Most of what I perceive of African hunting has less appeal to me than hunting in North America, but I must say a kudu and a nyala would be at the top of the list of African animals I would love to hunt.

very good sir, wish I had that kind of talent (or maybe work ethic to acquire the talent through practice)

OK .... is there anything you don't do well :)? Fishing, shooting coyotes, raising a family .... now drawing.

That is a great drawing. Very cool stuff.

Thanks for posting.
