I heard a discussion on "Beyond the Kill" a bit ago about Snow Trekker tents. Does anyone have any first hand experience with them? I like the weight benefit of them. Not looking to carry one on my back but space in the truck and ease of single person setup is a concern. I don't currently own a wall tent but am starting my education.

Someone has a picture of one on MM.
Looks sweet. Canvas so the condensation and wind flap would be better then they silynylon tepees but heavier.

Looks like an excellent 4-season truck camp for the solo hunter!

Have you seen a price?

They are great tents. I rented one for a solo winter trip into the Boundary Water wilderness. They are packable as far as winter camping goes because they can be hauled in a sled. Not difficult to set up solo and offers plenty of room and durability. They are pretty much the go to tent in the midwest for winter camping under canvas.
