Picked up one in .223, 7mm-HT, 6.5MTMuley, and soon to be 6.5 Grendel

Here’s the .223 and a 100 yrd group with garbage factory ammo. I wonder where the term “Cloverleaf” comes from????? I’ve tried flipping the pics. I give up.

very nice. have you weighed any of these rifles. I have the Alpine and was thinking of getting one of these for my son. what is the texture like on that Hogue stock, does it have that tacky feeling some of them have?

Never weighed it. It’s not a heavy rifle as the barrel is a fairly thin contour. The stock is a hogue but it’s not the rubbery overmolded. The Kuiu paint gives it a tad bit of texture but I don’t like the overmolded anyway. The best part for me is that the cerekote. The bottom metal and trigger guard are all cerekoted and for $400 you can’t beat it. The butt pad is very soft and for what I was looking for in a 223 bolt gun for yotes it’s hard to beat.

I’ll admit I’ve never been a huge howa fan but since thanksgiving I now own three of them.

wow $400 for what seems to be the exact same barreled action as the much more expensive howa alpine mt rifle. good deal. now I really want one for my boys

Why does my son have to be left eye dominant? One of these in 7mm-08 would be perfect for him.
