Hello all, I am new to the forum and trying to educate myself on elk and mule deer hunting. My nephew and some friends go on a yearly cow elk and mule deer hunt each fall in Wyoming and I hope to join them soon. I have been hunting whitetail deer since I was a teenager, using shotgun, pistol, bow and muzzle loader over the years, now mainly bow and ML. I also do a little coyote and turkey hunting along with fishing.
I took up reloading little over a year ago and really enjoy the challenge and satisfaction of coming up with a good load, I am still learning.
I am 52 now working on my second retirement with young kids that are going to be joining me in the stand or blind in the next year or two. We enjoying camping in the spring and fall and boating in the warmer summer months and fishing from spring to fall.
I found Fresh Tracks on Amazon and decided to look into Hunt Talk. So far I have enjoyed reading and learning on here and look forward to being able to add and help on some topics.
