Any ideas on how to get him out or should I just wait till spring? That’s a creek bed that’s only like 1-2 ft deep.

Not sure if his beams are deep in the mud or not even there.

Looks cool. I would try to excavate it now. Clear snow and then use a small pick ax or rock hammer if necessary.
 
Little propane heater and a pot...boil snow and pour to melt around horns. Or just heat snow with little propane/butane torch.
 
If you leave it and a porcupine finds it he will chew it up.
 
Very cool find! I wouldn't be able to sleep at night until I extracted that thing...

What would you do with it besides putting it in the flower garden?
 
Every cool find I bring home is met with equal amount or even more excitement from my wife. ;)

He may be snorkeling. I'd verify that he is dead before trying to cut his head off, just saying:rolleyes:
