I just recieved my Sightron S-TAC 4-20X50 MOA scope today.
Got it from Amazon as an open box special. $350.

Box was indeed unwrapped. Scope seems in excellent condition. No scratches, etc.
Came with pamplet/ instruction manual, allen wrench for resetting turrets, lens cloth.
What was surprising was the included Sightron scope cover.

Looking the scope over the paralax and magification was stiff.
Optics are nice and clear, even at 20 power.
Reticle is VERY fine.

Will give more reviews after mounting on my custom Mauser in 284 Win. Was built mainly for hunting and occassional range days.

Further review...

Finally got the rings in (Warne permanent 30mm low) and installed.
Sight in was 4 shots.
Performed box test. Ended up 1/2" right, but was my fault. Not the scopes. Polish me...

Knobes have loosened up some. Nice smooth movements on paralax and zoom now.
Turrets good audible and tactile clicks.

One of the concerns i read about was how fine the cross hair was and posability of losing it in the woods.
Found this NOT an issue! Could easily pick up dull red painted ram on mountain side at t00 yards on 12 power. Just got better with higher magnification. This was an overcast day with spotty rain showers.

On another day i was able to get the scope to flare out. But was no worse than any of my other scopes. Yes i had 2 Votrex and a Redfield Revenge there for comparison.
Shooting partners Leupold flared out also.
The dis-advantages of having a target towards the top of a mountain.
