New to the forum. I'm from central Iowa and have been chasing elk in Colorado the past two years. Still have yet to arrow one, but hopefully 2018 is the year! Excited to have finally joined.
 
Welcome! I hunted central IA for pheasants this year. I can see that becoming a yearly thing...

The bird hunting around here has been pretty spotty. But there are pockets of them around. Especially if you can get permission in the right places. Happy to help with suggestions for birds or whitetails if anyone is heading out.
