Windplex reticle

I’m looking for comments from hunters who have used Leupold’s Windplex reticle in the field, where 1st hit were made while using the windage marks. I’m trying to determine if it’s worth the effort of have my scope reticle switched out. Thks

Do I sound like a model T when I say that a heavy duplex is all I have used and see no need to change?

Dial for drop and hold for wind is where it's at..

I agree with both comments. As my eye get older a thick reticle is easier to see, I have a cds dial on my scope. But recently I started practicing at 500 yds and the wind is starting to show on my pOI. Looking at options other than “holding onto the wind”

I have a windplex with the CDS and it is pretty handy. Definitely more precise then holding into the wind... Is it worth the effort? I wouldn't change my reticle, but I might use it as an excuse to get a new scope!
