I receive a uniform allowance for work every three years. I can buy boots with this allowance so I was thinking about purchasing a pair of boots that I can wear hunting. The one caveat is that they have to be all black leather. Even the eyelets have to be black. I'm looking for a pair that I could wear on a western elk hunt (I'm from Pennsylvania). I've never shopped for really high end hiking boots. I typically wear boots that are on the level of Danner Pronghorns. Is there a boot manufacturer that makes a great hunting boot that's all black leather?

I have a pair of Danner Acadias that I wear for duty. Excellent leather that holds a shine, and they are recraftable by Danner. They come uninsulated, 200 gram, or 400 gram.

I wore the same Danner boot for 25 yrs,only mine were brown, as per code.

I hunted deer & turkey a few times in them,but they are not elk hunting boots.
