Hello,

Looking for someone that has some land out here around Jacksonville ,NC that wouldn't mind me hunting on it for the next few weeks before deer season ends. I am willing to pay for the right price for a lease.

You may be better off asking on a local NC forum, like North Carolina Hunt and Fish (NCH&F), if you haven't already. There's alot of guys from that area on that forum.

Failing that, there is always Angola Bay game lands, Hoffman State Forest, Croatan National Forest, Croatan game lands or Holly Shelter game lands, all within a short drive of Jax.

Probably not going to help you at this late date, but look into finding a sponsor on Lejeune for next year. Granted your German Shepard is probably just as big as the deer, but with six tags and the Bazillion they have on base, you can still fill a freezer.

A 20ga will do just fine. IIRC about 25-30 yds was my longest shot.
