My local Scheel’s store has Vortex Raptor 8.5X32 binoculars on sale for $60. I know these aren’t top of the line, or really even middle of the road binos, but I’m wondering if anyone has experience with them and if they’d be good for whitetail hunting in the woods. I hunt in Northern Minnesota primarily so I’m not going to be glassing more than 100-200 yards for the most part. Are these worth my money or should I pass? Thanks in advance for any advice.
