Excellent perspective, proudly expressed by a prominent Montanan. It rings familiar to an expression of appreciation for public lands described by someone returning from a successful elk hunt on public lands in Arizona. "Great minds ...... in agreement." Thanks Buzz.

I think that lack of getting outside can be viewed as the great difference maker. Our presidents that grow up outside (even just the occasional trip) have a deeper conservation ethic than the city slicker ones. Hopefully the next round we see someone that can tie a fisherman's knot and knows how to load a shotgun run.
