I’ve got a friend who would hopefully like to come out to MT next year to hunt mule deer. I told him that he’ll have to put in for the NR Deer Combo by March and he’d find out in April whether or not he was successful. Does anyone know the approximate success rate for a non resident for just the deer Combo? This will be his first year putting in. Even as a resident, I’m not sure how MT works exactly for the out of staters. Any information that I could pass along to him would be great. Thanks!
