For the last month bucks we haven't seen all year have been traveling through looking for willing does. These two showed up today.

Same thing happens in SE MT. Just in MT the hunters with the right connections get to shoot them.

Nice pictures. Is the second one a 4x4 or a 4x3? real nice buck ether way.

4x4, real short G-3 on the right side. I wonder how far these bucks travel during the rut? I'm glad Oregon doesn't have many rut hunts for mule deer. Wouldn't take much effort to kill an older, mature buck right now and we really don't have that many.
