I think that scope may need an extended mount up front.

Yep and Talley does not make one in a 30mm. Appears it'll mount but pullback looks to be nada.

Dang you'd think with as popular as 30mm tubes have become they'd have piles of them for common rifles. I'm a fan of Talley mounts on my hunting rifles...they keep things simple

They do make them for 30mm tubes long action I have them on a couple rifles with Nightforce’s. These are on Stiller actions; not sure what different about the Leupold’s. What action are you trying them on?

Yes, they make them, but not extended. 1” only in extended. I have a Cooper 52. Came with Weaver style bases. Weaver makes a detacheable extended...may have to go that route.
Will speak with the Talley folks again tomorrow.

I have a cooper Jackson squirrel that only comes with the Talley bases. Coopers seem to be a bit limited in scope mounting options.
