I stopped by my LGS as they were closing for good to say goodbye. I noticed my 1981/1982 Winchester 375 hh I had traded in 3 years ago for a Ruger gp100 in a moment of weakness. It stood in the rack for all those years and never sold. I guess not too many folks need that caliber in southern California! My friend made me an offer I couldn't refuse.... and now it's back home. This particular weapon was the most accurate rifle I had ever owned at 1/2 moa at 200 yds with factory ammo. ( Gee...I got married in 1981....now that's old!!!) Now to find the correct scope for this heavy gun for field use. Any thoughts?

...Just purchased my scope.......stayed very simple with my hunting scope choice for this beast as my needs are under 250 yds.......went with the Leupold VX-1 3-9 American Marksman from Cabelas ($149).........which has the LR/windage reticle and very good and very needed ER. ( I think I fell for the gold circle envy)

Always cool when one comes back home. I'm sure most of us have a gun we wish we didn't sell/trade for one reason or another. Mine is a Benelli Nova. Nothing special about it except its the gun I learned to duck hunt with. I traded up. If I had kept it it would have been one I could give to a guy as loaner as I teach others. Oh well.
