    Default First Antelope hunt

Better late than never. A couple pictures from my first antelope hunt. NM unit 56 rifle. Great hunt that I won't forget, some highs and lows, but I can't wait to do it again.
Ate my first heart and that was good the meat is excellent. Like many have said here take care of it in the field and get it cooled down and it is as good as elk.

    Don't you ever wonder why
In spite of all that's wrong here
There's still so much that goes so right
    And beauty abounds?

The thunder rolls and the baby sighs
    And the rain comes down
Don't you wanta thank someone for this?

Congrats on a great buck and some fantastic eating game.
When all the trees have been cut down, when all the animals have been hunted, when all the waters are polluted, when all the air is unsafe to breathe, only then will you discover you cannot eat money.

Got him back today. Hadn’t planned on having something mounted but after the struggle felt like I owed it to him. To honor him. Glad I did He’s beautiful

The background wall color really sets your mount off to another level, simple but very effective way to show how beautiful he is. Extremely Nice!

Great antelope! They also make for great eye candy on the wall. Beautiful animals!
