Puerto Rico governor wants Whitefish contract cancelled ‘immediately’

Smells fishy……

The governor of Puerto Rico wants the contract with Whitefish Energy Holdings cancelled.

Whitefish E. H. had received a $300 million dollar contract to repair the damaged electrical energy grid in Puerto Rico after the hurricane ripped it apart.

Go here to read the article: https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/world/2017/10/29/puerto-ricos-governor-demands-terminating-power-contract-small-montana-company/811155001/

And why does Whitefish sound so familiar to Montanans and others in the West? It is because Whitefish is the “hometown” of Secretary of the Interior Ryan Zinke.

Humm……..must just be a lotto level coincidence that a $300 million dollar contract was awarded to a TWO person company based out of Ryan Zinkes hometown.

Oh, and in must also be a coincidence that it is on the record that Whitefish E. H. has been in communication with Ryan Zinke.

Darn, and I know it is just a coincidence that Ryan Zinke’s son has worked for Whitefish E. H. in the past.

Ryan Zinke is a Swamp Creature, an outdoorsman poser. From his private jet flights around the country, his dubious use of public time and money to campaign for the GOP, to rolling back the size of Bears Ears N.P. as a favor to one senator from Utah, to now possibly being involved in an unethical (and maybe illegal) deal to a two person company in his hometown of Whitefish.

Ryan Zinke is NOT a friend of outdoors men and women. He is a shill of the Extraction Industry – period.

Don’t support him, don’t carry water for him, and don’t make excuses for him.

Zinke and the DJT administration are about to try and set the precedent that National Monuments are open to have their boundaries greatly reduced or eliminated.

Think about that. No matter what your political affiliation is, if they are successful in this attack on National Monuments we will be open to losing some of the greatest Public Lands in the Country.

We have got to unite in the fight against this effort. CALL YOUR CONGRESSIONAL LEADERS. (202) 224-3121
Cheers,

Mark

Ye shall be free to roam…….

Note: Turn off the morning talk show and think for yourself. And remember, those “Evil Liberal Elites” are going to be on the frontlines on this fight. Their State AGs will be filing the lawsuits. And all those crazy “Greens” are going to be chaining themselves to the trees and lying down in front of the CAT - D9’s. They may think a magazine is only something you read, but they sure have some big stones when it comes to fighting for Mother Earth. I support these soldiers.

I believe this post violates the rules that Mr. Newberg has asked time and time again that we follow.
A US territory awarding a post hurricane contract for electrical services is not a Public Lands issue.

Could 'Mark' soon be the next James Riley?

Is 'Mark' James Riley? Where is Jose?

Agreed. This thread is locked.

Seems one has to connect a lot of additional dots to connect this issue to self-guided public land hunting. The mere fact the articles makes a reference to the Secretary of Interior, whether one likes/dislikes him, is not enough context to make this topic helpful in a public land hunting forum.
