North Carolina isn't known for it's "trophy quality" bucks. So I know that this buck may be just a normal buck in some states, but not in my neck of the woods! This wasn't public land, but actually in an urban area where I only have a few acres to hunt. I don't put out any cameras, so it was a surprise when he was 10 yards from my stand at daylight! He weighed 225, which a normal nice buck in my area will top 170-180.
