A lotta' nice MT 'loper stuff on here right now.
Just another story - thank's to American Public Lands..........
Camped on USFS. Hunted turkeys on USFS, had 1000's of sandhills flying over us all weekend.
Hunted antelope on BLM. After a 45 minute belly crawl through prickly pear, cushion cactus, and 18" tall sage, my wife's .257R found it's mark.
Our Public Lands and the opportunities they present are priceless.
BTW, Miller, I shot my buck through both shoulders, too.................

That sounds like an awesome hunt! Would love to fit in 2 species like that.

Congratulations.

I would suggest that if you happen to come back east to turkey hunt in the future you do bring some camo. You might need it back here. (Just kidding)

Super! Very different turkey pic compared to what I might find in my neck of the woods.

Congrats to a fellow .257 Roberts fan; my son’s was bloodied in Wyoming after years of attempts, and mine will go to northern Michigan and to Pennsylvania as well.

Looks like a great combo congrats on an awesome experience!

SWEET!! This will be my first long distance travel hunt while taking my pooch along. Hope I can get the yelling and frustration between the two of us to a minimum.
