Headed to Wyoming in 2 weeks!

Day 3: I REALLY wish I had a bull tag. Saw 4 bulls today. A 5x5, twp 6x6’s and a stud 7x7.... all but the 5x5 were closer than 50 yards broadside. No deer today but hopefully tomorrow is a better deer day.

Hey fin... does it make sense to move this to the live hunts sections?

Day 4: EPIC hunting day... 2 antelope, a coyote and 3 mule deer. Tagged out and done. Solid lesson in reading the wind.... the little buck was next to a much larger buck but....

They're one of the cleanest animals out there; don't be afraid to take the heart, liver, tongue, and nuts.

You can keep the liver. The "prairie oysters" are pretty good. They taste like soft bacon fat. The nuts and heart are always the first meal... unless it's a heart shot. In such a case the tenderloins are an acceptable substitute.
