Well, I feel about like I'm dropping off one of my kids at the orphanage, but this rifle never gets out of the safe anymore so it's time for someone else to put it to work. Per the serial number it's a 1997 and in good to very good shape, factory original recoil pad, trigger, etc. The rifle has high-gloss blueing and the included Leupold 3-9 VariX II scope is also high gloss. I've never had a problem of any type with this rifle, just isn't getting used the last few years. I don't see any rust on the rifle and just a few very light scratches and a few small dents in the wood. The rifle will have to be shipped to an FFL of your choosing or in person if you happen to be near Tri Cities, WA. I've heard California, Massachusetts and Illinois are a pain to ship to, if that's the case, I reserve the right to limit where the rifle is sold. $450 delivered to a HuntTalker in the continental US or if shipping isn't much more to AK as well.

It's just a reboring or rebarrelling away from turning into a 35 Newton for you...

I've made a resolution to quit buying guns that jump out in front of me at ridiculous prices unless they're precisely what I want.

This one has the bolt on the wrong side, even if it's priced so freaking low for the condition that it's in & the scope.

I have the same rifle in left hand and love it. I replaced the wood stock with a synthetic and it is more pleasurable to hump around. Someone will be very happy with that rifle.

I didn't realize you were a lefty. You can commiserate with my trying to arm two you boys, both whom I'm teaching to shoot LH due to eye dominance.

PS- You still need a 35 Newton!

I commiserate!

I want an 8mm mauser before another mid-bore thunder boomer though. Nice, lithe woods gun w/ a 1.5x5 or peep sight.

None of this helps Fishing for Sanity sell this tremendously priced firearm however.

So one of you guys better snap this up.

I have the same gun, different caliber, what stock did you get as a replacement?
