The pronghorn that have been brought into my Taxidermist shop haven't been the trophy quality I've gotten in the past, from eastern Wyoming. Some where pretty small.
The hunters said they didn't see anything bigger than what they got. They were all archery hunts on water holes.
Maybe water wasn't the way to go this year. What are you guys seeing? Bigger lopes might have held out till dark or gotten their moisture from vegetation mostly. Would like to hear if anyone is seeing smaller average horn size this year.
