At least in MT it looks like it is going to be mostly cold and wet for the next week, and it seems unlikely we'll get any long stretches of hot weather after that. What is the plan for fire management? Are they going to let them burn now that the intensity is low and they will do some good?
I've always wondered about putting so much resources on these huge fires during the summer as they seem unstoppable, and then when they put them out when the fires start doing what they are supposed to do to prevent further fires.
