reloading accubonds

Was at the range with a 7mm rem mag today and 160 grain accubonds. This particular rifle will not shoot accubonds with a jump so made some long ones today. I found 1 load that will work, now if I will just repeat it, 0.0506 at 100 yards. Rl 22 and 60.0 grains. Am going back to the range and hopefully I will have my first rifle that shoots accubonds.

Your micrometer and eyes are better than mine! ;)

opps one to many zeros in there 0.506. Was at the range today and NOPE. 1.25 was the best those same loads would shoot. My other 7mm rem mag I was shooting to 500 yards today 4 shot group = 0.802 I know which rifle gets to go hunting with me this year, and its not using accubonds

I can clover leaf 160's with my 7rem mag. Load is 160 accubonds, RL-19 @59.5grns., COAL 3.280. Hope this helps at all.

Thats one powder I have not tried, I may have some left to try. What barrel twist is everyone using in the 160 accubonds. My back up 7 has a 1-10 twist, might not be fast enough

I believe the 1 in 10 twist is a good versatile twist ,but anything lighter than a 180 in a .338 win mag isn't an effective use of the tool at hand.
I don't use a 4lb. hammer to drive tacks.
Ha,ha,ha.......
Think this thread is about accubond in a .338 mag. But I assume we are now talking about 160s in the 7mm REM mag now, instead.
I personally think the 1 in 10 will work fine with 160s in the 7.
