Hello from Wisconsin. I did the impossible and drew a NR archery bull elk tag in Kentucky last year. I went DIY and was able to arrow a 300+ 6X6 on the 7th day of my hunt on public land. This was my first ever elk hunt and I have been bitten by the bug. Best of all my 70+ year old father was with me for the hunt. If anyone draws Kentucky hit me up.
I have applied for several years in Wyoming and New Mexico elk but no tags. I am an avid bowhunter and will be hunting my home state and Iowa this fall. Hope to return to the elk woods next fall and plan on going otc if I am unsuccessful in the draws again.
