You've killed so many sheep, you just feed em to the Bears. Amazing.

Why did the season close?

What rifle caliber did you use?

They're a protected species now. Though in some areas they could open a limited season. I remember in Banff national park they were trying to boost their numbers up. Around there though they tend to get killed by grain trains a lot.

Beautiful bear! Man some day I'm going to get to hunt one. Montana is looking to have a season for the first time since about 1978!

I think it may have shut down due to some political BS as well. Don't quote me I was fairly young when it happened

375 at 18 yards.
Season closed because of Anti pressure basically. There are more bears now than we need for sure. B.C next door just got shut down from Anti BS as well this year

Hey Nube,

Awesome bear and one of the worst dioramas ever! :)

Wasn't what I had in mind when I got it back lol Sure could be a lot better but that sheep looks better than yours ...... lol
Are you going to be going for sheep again this year Dale?

Ouch!

Let's call this one a draw.....

Haven't been out for years. :(
Will kill a ewe this fall and help a couple of other newbie ewe hunters, got to keep the Non-trophy collection growing. :)

lol It was all for a good laugh bud. I can handle it.
If you are around 408 this November come climb a hill and chase a sheep past me with my bow. Hope it goes well!
