i will be headed out to Wyoming this September for a rifle black bear hunt. any advice would be greatly appreciated. Been going over information for average September weather in the Absarokas wilderness area, including average rainfall, so i'm good weather wise. Will be using my M77 Hawkeye in 300wm with 180 grain barnes T-TSX. never been on a western hunt before, never did a spot and stalk hunt either. so this is all new to me. i'm familiar in dealing with bears and food in camp,( dealt with black bear , not grizzly bears), so i have no issues there. this will be a backpack hunt, and yes i will be using a guide as required for non-residents to hunt that area.thank you in advance.
