My wife and I will be out for a quick hunt over the weekend hunting around the VLA area. We have been through the area several times on the way to the gila but do not have a lot of first hand knowledge of the area. I was hoping to get some advice from anyone that has maybe hunted the area before. We are definitely not picky and are just looking to get a buck so with that being said are we better off sitting water for a couple of days (w/o having water pre scouted) or spotting and stalking? I have noticed by scouting on google earth there is a ton of tanks and windmills in the area(mainly on private) so I am a little worried about striking out on water.
