Well I finally drew my ND muley buck tag. Now I am looking at recommendations for a scope. What I am looking for is a scope with turrets with the capability for shooting out to 600 to 700 yards. My price range is around 600 dollars. Thanks for your input.

I would look for something in the 4-16x range with really good glass. Leupold and vortex have several good options in that price range.
I have this scope on my 7 rem mag tikka. You will like it . Nice choice.

Any Nikon, Vortex or Leupold that has side focus paralax adjustment in the 3-9x40 - 4-16x42 range it a good place to start. The SF feature gets you up into the better glass and is my favorite scope feature ever.

There are some pretty good Leopold's in the for sale section that will match up with what a 270 is capable of. As far as the turrets the Custom shop can get that done for you with your budget. For what it is worth, airing out a .270 to 600 - 700 yards ethically on mule deer will take more than just a decent scope with turrets.

Keep Zeiss scopes in mind. Got my Conquest for under $600 on sale a couple years ago.
